Murder Trial of 'Mr. X' Continues

ATLANTA - There was emotional testimony Friday in a decades old murder trail.

The jury heard from a woman who claimed the defendant raped her and threatened to kill her around that same time period.

Michael Harvey is charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and aggravated sodomy in the 1994 death and rape of 39-year-old Valerie Payton. Next to the body was a note reading "I'm back Atlanta, Mr. X."

Payton's nude body was discovered in southeast Atlanta during the height of several unsolved murders targeting Atlanta prostitutes in the early 1990s.

Prosecutors say the case was unsolved for more than a decade until DNA evidence linked Harvey to the crime in 2005.
