ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab has analyzed DNA evidence that has successfully convicted the guilty and freed the innocent. Some now question how the crime lab interprets DNA cases when multiple suspects are involved.

A FOX 5 I-Team investigation examined the case of a convicted rapist and why experts say the DNA evidence used against him was wrong.

DNA experts say it is relatively easy to try to match one suspect to one piece of evidence, but when multiple suspects are involved it is a different story

On Tuesday night DNA experts in Idaho will put the Georgia crime lab standard to the test.

The FOX 5 I-Team sent the Idaho experts DNA samples from four FOX 5 employees, to see whether they match any of the DNA evidence from the Colquitt County rape case.
