Human Skull Disovered in McDonough

MCDONOUGH, Ga. (MyFOX ATLANTA) - Two surveyors made the gruesome discovery of skeletal remains in a wooded area in McDonough Thursday.

Investigators said the surveyors were out working when they discovered a human skull. The remains were found in a wooded area about 200 feet off Henry Parkway.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called to the scene.

Investigators said it was unclear whether the remains belonged to a man or a woman.
