ATLANTA - A mystery portrait in Marietta has people stumped.

A portrait has been hanging in the Avery Gallery for two decades but no one knows who it belongs to.

It dates back to either the late 19th century or the early 20th century.

The portrait was brought to the gallery for restoration from a frame shop, but that business closed down and the staff at the Avery Gallery hasn't been able to contact them since.

Since the portrait originally came from a Canton frame shop, Shae Avery thinks the woman's family may have been from that area. They're looking to hear from anyone who may know about the woman in the portrait or her family.
