ATLANTA - Concerns over the swine flu outbreak continue to grow in Georgia.

Tanner Medical Systems has sent samples to the CDC to see if two patients in Haralson County may be infected with the virus.

One is hospitalized in Bremen while the other is being treated as an outpatient.

Meanwhile, Georgia has one confirmed case of the swine flu.

A Kentucky woman traveled to Lagrange after contracting the virus in Cancun.

Tanner Health System said two of its patients are being tested to see if they have the swine flu.

Thursday one of the patients came into Higgins General Hospital in Bremen.

The other is being treated by a local doctor.

Both are men. They have flu like symptoms and have had contact with people who recently were in Mexico and are themselves sick.

Georgia has only one confirmed swine flu case -- a 30-year-old Kentucky woman who visited Cancun and came here for a wedding.

She's being treated at West Georgia Medical Center in Lagrange.

Many of the nurses on her floor are wearing masks and the patient is in isolation at the hospital's ICU.

State health officials said it's unlikely that the woman transmitted the disease to others during her stay in Georgia.

The CDC lab -- until Thursday -- was the only facility confirming swine flu cases.

Officials said they're working as fast as possible to test the samples but are having trouble keeping up.
