DeKalb Home Invasion Leaves 1 Injured

Police are investigating an early morning home invasion on Summerwood Drive that left one person slightly injured.

The home invasion occurred early Thursday morning at an apartment complex in Clarkston.

The victim told police that two black males entered the apartment through an open window.

Once inside the armed robbers demanded money.

At some point the victim's house guest -- a female -- was hit over the head with one of the weapons.

The robbers eventually fled on foot without getting what the came for.

Police said the victim said the suspects knew details about her personal business including the fact that she had recently been the recipient of a specific amount of money.

Police said the victim told this information to someone close to her and think whoever made entry into the apartment knew what they were looking for and knew the victim.

The house guest hit on the head was treated at the scene and released.

Police have two people in custody -- a male and a female. Police said they are persons of interest.
