Oglethorpe County officials said foul play was not ruled out in the deaths of an elderly couple found on a road near Lexington, Georgia.
Investigators said someone discovered the couple's bodies Saturday morning near State Highway 77.
Authorities are not releasing the couple's names until their relatives can be notified.
The county coroner said the pair may have been looking for a pet that wandered off.
