ATLANTA - The economic crisis has created a greater demand for services for the needy.
St. Vincent de Paul announced Tuesday the opening of the West End Family Support Center, located at 951 Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard.
Officials with the organization said the center will "deliver training, education, and benefits screening to help lift people from cycles of poverty to self sufficiency and independence."
