Catching Up with Old Friend Jim Axel

Jim Axel was a fixture on the FOX 5 news desk for 34 years, and now the veteran news man is battling cancer.

Axel retired from WAGA in 1996 and learned he had lung cancer in late 2005.

Since then, Axel has undergone an epic struggle and he agreed to share his tale with Senior Executive Producer Mark Shavin, who traveled to Florida and brought back Axel's touching story.
