BOWDON, Ga. (AP) - Police in Carroll County have arrested a 43-year-old man after they say he entered a home and stabbed three people, killing one of them.
Police say Duane Clough broke into the Bowdon home where his mother-in-law and estranged wife live. A male friend of Clough's wife was also at the home.
Carroll County coroner Samuel Eady told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that the male friend, 34-year-old Christopher Todd Watkins died at the scene of multiple stab wounds.
The two women were taken to a local hospital.
Eady says Clough broke in and began beating the three before grabbing a knife from a kitchen drawer.
Clough was later arrested and booked into the Carroll County jail.
