But a growing trend shows people are putting their pooches first when deciding on a purchase.

It has seen a 67 percent increase over the last 3 years in shoppers thinking of their pets when buying a vehicle.
Dale Snow said many customers bring their dogs with them to his Toyota dealership.
"They like to travel with them now," said Snow.
Pets are going everywhere, prompting car buyers to ask lots of questions.
