(MyFOX NATIONAL) - In honor of Veterans Day, several major restaurants will roll out gratis offerings that range from free appetizers to an entire entree for military personnel.

In fact, if you're wearing a uniform next week, you may need to let it out the following Monday if you hit each of these promotions.

WEDNESDAY
Now on Wednesday, the official Veterans Day, you have some choices. Outback Steakhouse gets things started with a free bloomin' onion and a drink for vets and active-duty military members. Then you can swing over to Applebee's for a free entree from 11 a.m. 'til midnight. For dessert, drop by Krispy Kreme, which will be giving away free donuts to vets and current military all day.

MONDAY
On Nov. 16 Golden Corral will offer free "Thank You" dinner meals to active-duty military and veterans between 5 and 9 p.m.

ONGOING

But it's not just food, Home Depot and Lowe's will will offer 10-percent discounts to current military and veterans. According to the Navy Times , Home Depot started the program on Nov. 5 and will run it through Veterans Day, while Lowe's discounts will be in effect from Nov. 8 through Nov. 15.
