Katharine McPhee Fights Hunger in U.S.

American Idol star Katharine McPhee -- who serves on the Feeding America Entertainment Council -- will embark on a cross country journey visiting with kids in need and volunteering her time to raise awareness about the critical issue of childhood hunger in the United States, especially during the summer months. Feeding America and The ConAgra Foods Foundation are working together to create the Hunger-Free Summer program to help children who might otherwise go without meals during the summer.
