When a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes prevented him from pursuing his dream of becoming a pilot -- George Canyon simply switched gears and went to Pan B, then Plan C.

Now the award winning country music star is using his gift of music and his experience with diabetes to encourage kids to not give up on their dreams.
