New Book Covers Early Days of CNN

John Baker has written a book about the very early days of CNN. In 1980 it was known as Chicken Noodle News - that's the respect Ted Turners vision received from the mainstay media which thought the notion of a 24 hour news channel was absurd.

Baker gives an insiders view that doesnt dispel the perception that the network was hanging by a string in the early days.
