ATLANTA (AP) - President Barack Obama told graduates of historically black Morehouse College to seize the power of their example as black men graduating from college and use it to improve people's lives. Obama said graduates should not be so eager to join the chase for wealth and material things, but instead should remember where they came from.

VIRGINIA, Minn. (AP) - The chief executive of Delta Air Lines says he plans to add jobs at the carrier's reservation center in the northeastern Minnesota city of Chisholm. CEO Richard Anderson says his airline wants to invest in the facility and keep it growing. It currently has about 500 full-time-equivalent employees.

ALBANY, Ga. (AP) - Investigators in Mitchell County are trying to solve an unusual theft from a school. Investigator Melvin Ray says someone took about 20 students' cell phones from a locked file room at Baconton Community Charter School. The school's policy is if a child is caught with their cell phone during school hours, it is taken from them and returned at the end of the school year.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) - Columbus officials are investigating the burning of 5 vehicles in the city's historic district. Historic district resident Cathy Fussell said all five vehicles that were set on fire were parked on the street, but vehicles parked in driveways were skipped.
